Of course, you can drop off and pick up your child(ren) at any time throughout the day, however there is no discounted price for using less hours, you still pay for the whole session you have booked. This is because we always ensure that there are enough staff in each day to comply with staff: child ratios, if you are unsure about this you can speak to the nursery manager at your child’s nursery who will be happy to help.
First we would love to invite you along to visit your preferred nursery or nurseries if you are comparing a couple of our nurseries. Our nursery managers will be very glad to show round around our nurseries and answer any questions that you may have.
From there if you would like to book at place in the nursery we would ask for a completed parent carer agreement and a child registration form which you will receive when you enquire and a registration fee. Your registration fee is used to secure your place, once you decide to leave our nursery we will ask for 1 months’ notice. If we are unable to offer the desired place straight away, we will offer you a place on our waiting list and you will be kept up to date with the status of your enquiry.
Once you have registered with us you will receive a letter or email to confirm. When it is time for your child to start with us we offer complimentary settling in sessions and we will work with you to establish these.
Here at Bertram we understand that every child is unique and that some children will take longer than others to settle into the nursery routine. As a guide we usually recommend that your child settles with us over the course of 1 or 2 weeks, however this can be lengthened or shortened depending on the needs of your child. We understand that first leaving your child in nursery can be daunting, we will work with you and your family to ensure that your child receives the best possible start at one of our nurseries. We try our upmost to create a home away from home for your child where they feel happy and safe and you can feel reassured knowing that your child is being looked after in a secure, caring and nurturing environment.
We try to make the payment process for parents as easy as possible. You will receive an invoice during the first week of every month, this will either by email directly to yourself or given to you in person by our nursery manager when you drop off or pick up your child. You can pay this via direct debit or standing order. Alternatively you can pay by debit or credit card using our online service which you can access here; https://bertramnurserygroup.com/shop/nursery-fees.
We also accept a wide range of childcare vouchers which provide you with tax relief on your childcare, you can find out more information regarding this from your workplace. If you attend college or university you may be entitled to support to help with your childcare costs, you can usually find out more information by contacting the student support department. If you have any questions or queries regarding payment of your child’s fees you can contact us on 0161 941 7331.
