Corporate Social Responsibility is not just a policy, but an objective embedded in the Bertram Nursery Group organisation’s aims and ethics.
We believe our systems provide a good balance between our economic aims, sustainable growth and human progress and, as such, we manage our business with values and integrity.
Learning about Social Responsibility at Nursery
Through our early years childcare & education we encourage children to consider how the small things they do make a difference to others.
Various aspects of the English & Scottish education systems are relevant when working with the local community and or towards a charitable cause:
- Scottish Curriculum For Excellence: Encapsulates many capacities in being a responsible citizen, effective contributor, successful learner & confident individual.
- English Early Years Foundation Stage with the 4 overarching principles: A unique child; Positive relationships; Positive environment & Children developing at different rates and in different ways
Charity Partners & Fundraising Events
We are committed to many local community appeals, national & international charities, especially those caring for pre-school children.
Our aim is to teach children in our care to be socially responsible and become effective contributors, helping to make the world a better place. Every day we encourage our children to consider how even the smallest of things they do make a big difference to others. Through these daily pursuits & special events involving us all from the Baby Room to Board Room we showcase many worthy charities & community appeals helping to increase their profile, good work & supporters.
Our Just Giving site enables direct donation to partner charities and offers children, parents and staff the opportunity to share their personal fundraising story in linking their Just Giving page. Click below to visit our Just Giving page.
